Set up using your phone
Download the VIVE app (Android) or VIVE Flow app (iPhone) to set up VIVE Flow. The app helps you get your VIVE Flow and phone ready before jumping into VR.

For iPhone users
You may need to update the VIVE Flow software so you can use it with an iPhone.
Do I need to update VIVE Flow software?
Check if you see
one of these
, your VIVE Flow software is updated to support the iPhone.
If you see a black bar on the label on your VIVE Flow box, your VIVE Flow can already be used with an iPhone.
If your VIVE Flow is new, connect it to a power source and wear it. If you see the App Store badge on the screen, your VIVE Flow can already be used with an iPhone.
If you don't see the black bar on the label or App Store badge,
update your VIVE Flow software.
For VR controller or holoride users
Connect VIVE Flow to a power source. Then, press and hold the headset button to set up VIVE Flow in VR.
Note: Install the VIVE app on your phone if you need to mirror your phone on VIVE Flow.
