Putting on the headset

Here's how to put on the headset and adjust the fit when the battery cradle and a strap (head strap or VIVE Deluxe Strap for XR Series) are attached.

Note:

Glasses won't fit inside the headset. If you wear glasses, remove them first before putting on your headset.

Turn the adjustment dial counterclockwise until the battery cradle is fully extended.
Hold the visor and battery cradle with both hands. Position the visor over your eyes first, then position the battery cradle around the back of your head.
Turn the adjustment dial clockwise until the battery cradle fits comfortably and securely against the back of your head.
If you have the head strap or VIVE Deluxe Strap for XR Series attached to your headset, adjust the fit of the strap if needed. For details, see the following topics:
