Appendix
Installing VIVE Hub
Install
VIVE Hub on your computer so you can use
VIVE Desk on your headset.
- On your computer's web browser, go to https://www.vive.com/vive-hub/download/.
- Click Download for macOS to download the VIVE Hub DMG file to your computer.
- Open the VIVE Hub DMG file.

Drag the
VIVE Hub installer file to the
Applications folder.
Wait for the installation to finish.

Launch
VIVE Hub.
The first time you use
VIVE Hub, you'll be asked to:
- Agree to the VIVE Hub user agreenment. You need to agree to the terms be able to use VIVE Hub.
- Grant the following permissions to
VIVE Hub so you can use
VIVE Desk:
Permission Description Screen recording Allows your computer screen to be displayed in the headset. Input monitoring Allows you to use the mouse connected to your computer to interact with objects in VR. Accessibility Allows you to use an input device such as a mouse or keyboard connected to your headset to interact with your computer.
