How do I see what someone is seeing in the headset?

Use Screen mirroring in VIVE Hub to see what the person is seeing in the headset. Here's how.
Important:
  • Screen mirroring is only supported when the headset is connected to the PC via a wireless or DisplayPort connection.
  • DisplayPort mode using the VIVE Wired Streaming Kit is only supported on VIVE Focus Vision.
In VIVE Hub, do any of the following:
  • Click > Mirror headset.
  • Click > Settings > General. On the General tab, click Mirror next to Screen mirroring.
You'll see a window appear on the computer screen showing what's inside the headset.
Note: When VIVE Focus Vision is connected to the PC via a DisplayPort connection, you can choose to only mirror the content seen from the left or right eye or both eyes (two images).
Important: When the headset is being used to play games installed on the headset, it's OK to do Screen mirroring. However, when the headset is doing a wireless PC VR streaming session, it's not recommended to use Screen mirroring. Using Screen mirroring during a wireless PC VR streaming session may affect wireless streaming performance.
